Vascostylis Janice Allison

Vascostylis Janice Allison is a beautiful vandaceous orchid hybrid, particularly appreciated for its abundant flowering and attractive, richly coloured blooms. The flowers typically display vibrant shades of pink to violet and purple, often enhanced by delicate contrasting patterns, creating an impressive and colourful floral display. Its elegant flower spikes and long-lasting blooms make this hybrid especially attractive to orchid enthusiasts and collectors.

The plants are cultivated hanging completely bare-root, without any growing substrate. This cultivation method provides excellent aeration around the roots and closely replicates the natural epiphytic growing conditions of vandaceous orchids.

Vascostylis Janice Allison thrives in intermediate to warm temperatures with bright, filtered light, moderate to high humidity, and excellent air circulation. The exposed roots should be watered thoroughly and regularly, especially during warmer periods, allowing them to dry between waterings.

With its vibrant colouring, abundant flowering, and elegant tropical appearance, Vascostylis Janice Allison is a beautiful and rewarding addition to any collection of vandaceous orchids.
