Taeniophyllum obtusum, a botanical species native to Southeast Asia, is a miniature orchid known for its aphyll growth pattern, with roots only and occasional small leaves. This orchid thrives in warm temperatures with moderate light intensity. While not in bloom, the plant requires plenty of water during active growth, allowing it to dry between waterings. When grown mounted, it is recommended to wet the plant when dry, spray water daily, and soak the entire plant in water once a week for a few minutes. Taeniophyllum obtusum blooms once a year in spring or summer, offering a unique and rewarding cultivation experience for orchid enthusiasts.
