Lepanthes thysanota

Lepanthes thysanota is a fascinating miniature botanical orchid species, particularly appreciated for its extremely compact growth habit and delicate, intricately structured flowers. Despite its tiny dimensions, this species produces remarkable miniature blooms with unusual shapes and fine floral details, making it especially attractive to collectors of rare and unusual botanical orchids.

These are exceptionally small plants, cultivated mounted on small pieces of wood to closely replicate their natural epiphytic growing conditions. They thrive in cool to intermediate temperatures with low to moderate, filtered light, consistently high humidity, and gentle but effective air circulation. Frequent watering is essential to prevent the delicate roots from drying out completely, while avoiding prolonged water stagnation.

Important: These miniature orchids have been recently imported and may still be adapting to their new growing conditions. The product photograph is intended to provide an indication of the actual size of the plant, helping customers understand just how small these specimens are.

With its exceptionally miniature dimensions, fascinating flowers, and distinctive botanical character, Lepanthes thysanota is a remarkable addition to any specialised collection of miniature orchids.
