Dendrobium cuthbertsonii, a botanical species native to the highlands of Papua New Guinea, is a small orchid that thrives in intermediate to warm temperatures and medium to high light intensity. This orchid, known for its fragrant red/orange flowers, prefers to be grown in a pot with good drainage and should be watered when the top layer of the soil feels dry. During the winter resting period, reduce watering to allow the plant to slightly dry out between waterings. With a flowering frequency of once a year in winter and spring, this plant is also suitable for terrariums, adding a touch of exotic beauty to indoor spaces.
