The photo of the flower and the plant is indicative
- Rare variety of Neofinetia falcata (imported South Corea)
- Pot with minimum 2 vegetation
- Neofinetia falcata Higashidemiyako(“Eastern Kyoto”) is a great first shima-striped fukiran as it is relatively inexpensive and fast-growing. Higashidemiyako is a standard sized fukiran with typical white flowers that occur in summer. As with many fukiran, the leaves are the star of this variety with creamy yellow margins and dark green centers making it a focal point of any collection year round.
- Like all Neofinetia, prefers an environment with good air circulation and filtered light. It grows well in well-draining substrates and requires a certain level of ambient humidity to thrive. In winter, it is advisable to reduce watering.
- Repotted in the middle of august (it may be that not all roots can be active)
