Paphiopedilum primulinum

Paphiopedilum primulinum is a charming botanical slipper orchid species native to Sumatra, Indonesia, admired for its compact growth habit and delicate flowers in soft shades of yellow to yellow-green. One of its most attractive characteristics is its sequential flowering habit: the same flower spike can continue producing new blooms one after another for an extended period. For this reason, the flower spike should not be cut as long as it remains green and active. It thrives in intermediate to warm temperatures with bright, indirect light, moderate to high humidity, and good air circulation. This plant is cultivated in a pot using a well-draining, moisture-retentive orchid substrate, keeping the growing medium lightly and consistently moist while avoiding water stagnation.
