• Rare variety of Neofinetia falcata  (imported South Corea)
• An interesting, compact variety with mutated leaves, known as *Hagawari* (葉変わり).
• The upper surface of the leaf displays glossy, dark green streaks, referred to as *Sumi* (墨), which literally means “ink flowing” (or more accurately, *sumi wo nagasu*). The underside of the leaf, on the other hand, reveals very fine black stripes that appear as the leaf matures. The name of the plant reflects the concept of “ink flowing” (literally: Paper Marbling).
• The term *Sumi* (墨) should not be considered a variegation, but rather a linear change in the leaf tissue. It is often translated as “black ink” or “black stripe.”
• Like all Neofinetia, prefers an environment with good air circulation and filtered light. It grows well in well-draining substrates and requires a certain level of ambient humidity to thrive. In winter, it is advisable to reduce watering.
