- Dimorphorchis lowii is a unique and rare orchid species native to Borneo. It is known for its distinctive feature of producing two different types of flowers on the same inflorescence—hence the name “Dimorphorchis,” which means “two forms.” The upper flowers are typically white or yellowish, while the lower ones are more colorful, often with red or purple markings.
