A mini-miniature sized, hot growing, monopodial epiphyte of the Thrixspermum section from Thailand, peninsular Malaysia, Cambodia, Borneo, Java, Sumatra to Vietnam and the Philippines in white sand, lowland forests at elevations of sea-level to 100 meters on tree trunks in moist areas near the sea.
