Bletilla is a genus of plants in the Orchidaceae family, commonly known as terrestrial orchids or Japanese orchids. These plants are characterised by narrow, lance-shaped leaves and showy flowers that often come in shades of pink, purple or white. They are perennial and native to temperate regions of Asia, such as China, Japan and Korea.
