Cattleya Gigi Portilla

The Cattleya Gigi Portilla is a stunning hybrid resulting from the crossbreeding of Cattleya iricolor and Cattleya leopoldii. This orchid merges the graceful flower shape and fragrance of Cattleya iricolor with the vibrant colors and robust growth characteristics of Cattleya leopoldii. Thriving in intermediate to warm temperatures with bright filtered light and good air circulation, these plants were introduced and are currently potted. It’s advised to let the substrate slightly dry between waterings while maintaining moderate humidity. A well-draining bark mix is recommended to foster strong root development and robust growth. With proper care, this exquisite hybrid orchid will delight growers with its spectacular and often fragrant blooms.
