A forbidden dream of many plant lovers, here is the variegated monstera ‘thai constellation’, a striking evergreen climbing plant. Like the other more classic monstera, it has large, deeply carved leaves with small, oval-shaped holes placed evenly along the main leaf vein. The yellow-white variegation present on the entire surface of the upper and lower page of each leaf makes it almost unique. The irregular arrangement of the yellowish spots is the feature that most intrigues enthusiasts: each leaf seems to house a miniature constellation, which also explains its original name.
Thai Constellation has a medium-fast growth rate and can reach a large size, so make sure you have plenty of space to devote to it. It is easy to maintain, keep out direct sunlight and spray the leaves regularly. It suffers from temperatures below 15° C, which is why it is kept indoors during the cold season.
